Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. She returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd's win was a majority decision, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters.
